It's nice to have a manga where even though the MC got kicked out of a party, his former members (or just one/two of them) still think of him as a friend. That's refreshing.
I get alarm bells when someone just wants to make someone happy for no reason.
Made sense when he wanted to make her happy since he sympathized with her situation and also wanted to make her try things she's never had before - but wanting to make her the "happiest in the world" is like... Why...
@SpaceFootballKing You realize she's middle school right? Ranges all the way from 13-15. If he's 3rd year high school, he's 18. Minimum 3 years difference - barely even a scratch on the radar. From which goddammed universe does it constitute pedophilia?

God MC is just so nonplussed about everything. He literally resurrects the demon army and he's done for the day. This is the personification of mediocre plot and pacing. Doesn't even have edginess to make up for it.

It's bittersweet. I like it though - being able to let go of your previous attachments to start anew in your current life feels like a fresh start.
She may not remember the happy times but she also doesn't remember the pain.
I usually love the art in this manga but her legs from the back standing up in the 1st page was weird - it doesn't have that arc that legs have with the curves
This story asks me a lot of questions but it makes me uncomfortable because it somehow seems like the author doesn't know the answer to those questions either
