This was a great chapter on emotional development - I'm loving Sein's addition to the dynamic as well, and the translation felt really smooth and natural for a subject with a lot of emotional shading, great work.

All I can think as bad as this is that history has the Russian army and sphere of influence eventually moving through the area instead of proxies, and what worked here... won't. :(

I did like the dialog where the inn group is having to explain something to them that's the natural state of things to an outsider...
