Ah, this chapter gave a reasonable excuse for why she doesn't want a bath (and why she's so easily convinced to take one). She's just lazy (and probably doesn't like the feeling of her hair drying or how it feels to sleep with moist hair - but mostly she just prefers a full slack.)
