I'd still pick a different word than "usable". 99% of people who see this word will think it's an adjective.
"Tool" or "familiar" are both way better. Even the dictionary definition of "tsukai mono" gives "usable article".

That's what I was thinking as well. I was trying to re-translate the word used into Japanese original, and "familiar" is definitely the correct term here - nevermind the fact that "usable" sounds terrible as a noun, and is not even applicable here.
