@martyg I second @kanjutbautai , pretty sure it's タツミ堪能中 which would be something like "too busy/in the middle of enjoying Tatsumi" to explain why Amachin didn't notice. If it helps, you can search kanji like this - *能 or 能* - on jisho.org and it will show you compounds using the provided kanji...

@Oeconomist Ohhh, I see now. You raise an interesting point. Checking the raws again, in No. 13's debut chapter she pretty clearly asks Tanaka "Do you like Ueno?" (although she is interrupted) near the end. Unless she was referring to herself in the third person and by the name Ueno, it suggests...

Well, Kumeta Koji has always remained one of my favorite manga artists for his distinctive style, so I certainly wouldn't be opposed to anyone taking notes from his work.

I don't have a lot of textual evidence, but personally I think No. 13 is more or less a robot copy of Ueno. The main way in which they differ is that No. 13's body is a repurposed caretaker model robot, which explains why she's able to do things like launder clothes in her hands in ch 19, or why...

Huh. It's not a bad story, but I don't really see what this has to do with Franken Fran. This strikes me more as a volume extra chapter or something.

@Teionsav I do occasionally flip through chapters to see the titles or inventions featured, but I don't typically spend much time "reading" anything beyond whatever chapter I'm actually working on next.
