Interesting indeed, hopefully no forced romances because I like the fantasy setting and these two characters.
A bit heavy handed on the exposition though.
You know this is really nice, I'm grateful that they really are honest with their feelings and still keep in touch. I wish my dad would reincarnate as well and moving on isn't as simple as telling people just do it. Very nice chapter.
@twinklecake He has never been truly threatened before honestly. This one also was just very sporadic, lax security. Eh, I was not surprised how quickly he dispatched everyone.
@twinklecake I mean, we've seen quite literally in a lot of chapters now that Maru is definitely superhuman, major quick reflexes and he can recover from injury really fast (I mean his tooth regrew!!) I feel like this series was always going to take a turn for the worst especially with a lot of...
I guess she couldn't untie it herself when Robin was quite literally beside her the whole time and was in shock for the aftermath as she was still recovering so she didn't think of untying it.
I think they have to keep Robin alive because he knows quite a bit about the Doctor atm. Doesn't mean they can't smack him a little more though.
The whole silent Maru was pretty cool
@earl Basically it feels like the God of War is toying with the citizens, the good swords, which is basically the ritual swords feels like just a nothing thing for God of War but he seems to want a reason to attack and when Firo removed THE sword, it was just what he was waiting for.
@anoman Well I get you, but I personally like the pacing honestly. I think he's using the pages to perfection, giving enough lore and story bits to last a chapter.
I guess you can always leave the Internet, no one's stopping you
