I just caught up to this manga. I chose one hell of a time to binge and catch up. I have to say, this is one of my favorite manga of all time. The characters and story are amazing, it's rare to see something this well-written.

@ykyrlv It looks like it was a "bonus" at the end of the published volume. Some scan groups choose not to include these, probably because A) it often isn't necessary to understand the main story, B) it's more work, and C) it encourages readers to buy the actual volumes.

Decent spin-off and I enjoy the concept behind Suzune's character and motivation, but the final volume is just a bit iffy to me. I read somewhere that the author was pressured to extend it an extra volume, and I think it shows. Up until then it was a pretty solid story, if just slightly...

Okay I was going to comment seriously, but that chapter title. "Takoha in Space". That's just fantastic.

The way to stop the invaders is to make sure they don't get through in the first place. At least when Takoha's soul is pulled back into his body (which I'm assuming is what will happen, that or one of the psychic characters will be able to see his ghost) they'll have this information.

For once, no one died at the end. Neat! Feels like the recent chapters moved away from the whole "person who made the request was horribly mistaken" formula and got some real variation, it feels much more refreshing now.

I saw the "tragedy" tag and thought it would mean the main character died or something along those lines. Instead, this turned out to be really sweet and touching and got me to tear up in a good way.

You know, this is Seiichi's first time seeing Takoha since he fled with Rokurou from the hospital... I wonder if he remembers being told Takoha is his family? Alternatively, I wonder if Takoha smells more like Souboutei after Deido gave him control of those arms. Either way, I really want to see...

Takoha will almost certainly be healed after this, but I like how he managed to use Deido's appreciation for art to get a chance to save her. Does anyone else hope they'll actually do some figure drawing after this?

I personally find it fun to see Takoha save the day because he's not like other shonen protagonists spouting inspirational lines and sprouting perfect psychic powers for the situation. He's literally the only normal guy there, and I think that's part of WHY he's so much more capable to fight...

Definitely one of the more tragic outcomes in my opinion. The family went from four long-lost brothers to two all from a mother's attempt to reunite her sons after her death, even if one of those deaths had nothing to do with her. Nice to see a little bit of the overall plot at the end though...

I can't blame Rokurou for falling for that. He's an actual kid, and he doesn't have nearly the amount of context and information we have. The Dark Water's story is pretty believable, especially after seeing Seiichi's memories of the white water planet gaining emotions through contact with him...

You know, I don't think they wanted Taki-sensei to say that when they called him in. Interesting to see Usobuki's goal so clearly though. It really could go either way at the very end.
