@SifTheFair
I mean, if he was, wouldn't he be investigating it on his own? He's a foreigner just recently in town, why would he suddenly start working on their investigation? Or is it just supposed to be the whole arrogant royals commanding people they have no right to trope? Either way, just...
The story seems so rushed and skipped and muddled at this point. Like, why is he suddenly working for anyone, and having to listen to her? It feels like we skipped a ton of important setup.
Honestly this is getting kinda boring already only a few chapters in.
Also, it almost has the same vibe as the NTR where some chad comes in and shows her how to let loose because the MC is too much of a wuss to do anything.
@Hashire-Sori-Yo Good catch.
Definitely would have used slugs vs. the bear previously though (shot wouldn't do much of anything against one but piss it off), and bought sabot's in this chapter. So he's definitely set up for slugs, but I guess he did buy shot for the wolves, which was probably...
@Hashire-Sori-Yo
The copper sabot slugs that he mentions in this chapter, just like all slug, are still in a shell. All shotguns rounds use shells. Did you think slugs were fired just like what, a rifle round or something?
Shot is the alternative to Slugs, not shells, both come in shells. He’s...
ITT: A bunch of people who only know guns from CoD and think buckshot only works at 30 yards and slugs at 100. For one, he's definitely using slugs, he even mentions exactly which in the 2nd chapter, Copper Sabot, even the pricing on them is pretty close to as mentioned in the chapter. There is...
@Pepepatate and @Dots125 I mean even the MC on page 20 is shocked that the Wolf climbs the tree, so I think the author is well aware that wolves in our world do not do that.
Anyone curious, we were discussing the whole scope on shotgun thing on the chapter's specific discussion.
In short - It's not uncommon at all, especially when using good slugs, to shoot up to 200 yards with a good shotgun, and if you're hunting something like Turkeys, using a long range scope...
@ankiwi Totally fine. Maybe just google image search: "Remington 870 shotgun with scope", and you'll see a few images pop up with people using them or just an image of the guns on their own that you can slap on there as well. There are even videos out there you can find of people using them to...
@Mangon Or anyone else concerned about eye damage scoping in on a shotgun, you're never supposed to have your eye touching the actual scope, and with a shotgun, the way they are designed, it's easy to have your eye a good 6+ inches away from the scope and still maintain sight picture just fine...
To anyone curious, if using slugs especially, it's not uncommon to use a long-range scope, like a 1.5-9x on a shotgun. Especially for Turkey hunting or other small/medium sized game, where with a good shotgun with a good slug round you can hit from around 150 meters or so, people even use them...
I’m not surprised it was axed after the way chapter 10 went down. Such an absolutely garbage chapter did not bode well for the future of the story. I honestly would’ve been more surprised if it had recovered from that.
I mean, even if you don't slaughter them, at least leave them tied up and contact the authorities. Arito is just as to blame for whoever they go on to kidnap and sell into sex-slavery at this point.
You're really going to let child sex trafficker's just go like that? What in the hell. That's...
I kinda hope he beats the shit out of his dad. What a total selfish prick. Unfortunately that a ton of fathers like him absolutely do exist.
That's probably the only thing keeping me from completely hating the dad, just the fact that this kind of behavior, while still not condoned, is all too...
