I wish I could explain it better; sometimes, reading a story just gives me a very strong feeling of "this is going to go to utter s**t eventually, don't get emotionally invested".

As of about a dozen chapters now, the quality has seriously stagnated. The rest I'll put in spoiler tags because I don't know how much of that is considered an actual spoiler.
Somehow my Willing Suspension of Disbelief is getting harder and harder to maintain, which is never a good sign...
I'm impressed with how, even after the ending of the first season being so utterly disappointing, people still can't stop talking about how insanely better it is than the 2nd one. Looks as if my decision to drop it was justified after all.
