Thats an interesting small detail with the final page. The leader elf has half her ear eaten off. I am not really good with finding small details. Also the magic chest written on one of the elves is similar to the ancient magic that Mar used in earlier chapters.
Seems like it's more complicated than just orcs raid. Yes they do raid but it seems like the orcs are just following their leader that they trust and the leader is doing what he thinks protects his tribe even if it's unfair to others.
Its very cool to see a team actually work as a team where skills compliment each other. Usually teams in fiction is just a reason for characters to be near each other.

Sometimes the series dialogue is less characters speaking and more of a internal dialogue of the author thinking about things. That what's makes the dialogue of the series unique and interesting but it's very wordy and all over the place. I like that aspect of the series though.
Kinda werid how the whole thing is about her wanting to have friends.
Also werid how she can't just leave the village but I am guessing there is reason why.
I find it interesting to do a hard reset. Honestly I never seen a series to just toss all the progress and redo it. It makes sense to me though and it would be interesting to reframe everything.
> Child: I want to learn powerful magic at school to murder people
> Dad: Sure
What? What the hell was the dad thinking here? "Outside experience?" He's giving his kid a handgun...
Aside from that I liked how Ted when from being annoying to being likable.
