I am waiting until someone eventually dies because of the anxiety in that cursed town, but maybe that's why I'm so tense while reading this. I want some form of climax, some sort of "Bang!" moment to relieve what the author has been building up but it still hasn't arrived. It's like a balloon...
Sometimes I imagine what it's like to actually be a viewer watching Hobin's channel, seeing a scrawny underdog fight and getting hyped, then the camera starts rolling and you say "What is this idiot doing and how is it gonna help him win?"
HELLA HYPE! That challenge from Hobin is giving the same vibes as Subaru vs Roswaal, a 'Zero to Hero' protag goes toe to toe against an evil mastermind to protect the ones they love. Great!
I've put off finishing this series after taking a break from it last year and I wish I didn't, I couldn't end this with the 'chapter by chapter' experience but DAMN am I glad we got a better ending than most others get.
Also, what's the Japanese equivalent of "Baba O'Riley"? There HAS to be...
Right, this is a toss up between being a closing epilogue to the story or a prelude to some last minute conflict like a rival gang shooting up the wedding or something.
