@Varler: I think part of the purpose of that flashback of Emden hammering away at that tree to 'temper his fists' was to help justify that to be fair.

I dunno how to feel about the setup they seem to be going for here, AKA Baki & co vs a bunch of sumo. It's not like the Raitai tournament or the Convicts where the fighting styles used within the 'rival' groups were all really varied, here it's literally just sumo. Not even Sukune's ancient sumo...
