@CinderKin Portability as well as balance would be a big issue with that kind of staff. Super strength doesn't increase the user's weight and poise, so carrying, let alone swinging something that big and heavy would be really hard to do (unless she wore full plate armor). Not to mention that...

It's not a true castle siege without siege weaponry. Gehenacross has dragons, but what about the Fairy Kingdom? No trebuchets throwing magical exploding rocks or ballistas shooting magic spears? Those large dragons are pretty much the perfect target for artillery.

Isn't that king's actions (or lack thereof) a bit counter-productive? He probably spent SOME amount of resources for the summoning and the duo seems pretty good for PR, but he's behaving like the possibility of the hero dying is not his problem.
@WillLi They should ask for help from the US (even the minors use guns, though not against the monsters). In fact, why not get a whole chapter dedicated to seeing the status of all the countries of the world. Saudi Arabia makes the flame troops plausible in a semi-apocalyptic world with all that...
