MERRY CHRISTMAS.
This chapter was baller, even the yakuza have more Christmas spirit than Santa, but he did come around in the end.
But I think it is a little stupid for them to want to capture Santa, I mean... why? He clearly is extremely benign, so why try to contain him?
And all this talk...
That is some twist.
I love how Mccoy still blushes when a man is gentlemanly with her or she deals with an embarrassing situation, she may be a hard-boiled badass but she isn't insensible.
@angelusalvus If I understood right they only die "easy" when the weapon in question has some power, like Maccoy gun and I think the sphinx was created by Ra himself (or it is a creature, didn't understand if the author classified it as a monster or weapon).
Those yakuza invited the supreme goddess of their mythology as a way to bless the party/ceremony, I can totally see them doing this if they could.
Amaterasu is beyond hot.
This type of asshole always thinks they have control of everything like just because they exist the world accommodates itself to their convenience, and I love seeing things not going their way.

Fucking bastard, he loses the war, demoted Daryun when he only tried to give advice, caused the death of thousands of soldiers and now he just strolls back takes the work done by Arslan and his crew, and takes his crew like they are possessions.
It irks me that I thought he was badass when he...
@reishiki I have seen examples where a 50 years old elf is practically a child yet, probably just entering adolescence. But I think in this story she would the equivalent of a young adult.
Her mother, a full-blood elf, remarried... to a GNOME?
In every piece of fantasy fiction I have seen, an elf marrying a human is already treated as scandalous even in the most open-minded settings... but a gnome is a pairing I never would think seeing.
Marcille's reason for her objective is...
