If Imoko knows she's trying her best just to cope, what's the point of saying those things? Just to needle her? Doesn't she already get enough criticism from their mother?
This series is not a good series and never has been. It's wholly ridiculous from beginning to end, with extremely weak characterization across the board. In fact, the most well-roundes character in the entire series is the one that got killed off in this chapter.
Both *Fantasia* and *Britannia...
That gag from inside the front cover was pretty good.
I'm glad that Loretta is sticking around even if she won't be one of the main characters in this arc.
Sure seems like they could have tried a bit harder to make everyone realize what happened. Even if they couldn't explicitly state it, they could have made it clear that something happened to them rather than just trying to play their parts. (But that would have required smarter writing.)
It's a shame that this genuinely distinctive take on the fantasy genre with memorable characters, sincere emotional impact, and great artwork couldn't survive amidst the sea of generic isekai and demon king manga. That this wasn't able to stick around until its natural end is a real loss.
Kudos...
@SupremeCommander Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what it was. Like a proper bird parent, he regurgitated the meat in a mushy blob so that it would be easier for Fenrir-sama's human to eat.
