barely anything has actually happened in the last several years real time. Qins took a couple zhao cities... and thats it. Riboku is squabbling with current leadership, but despite some action the last couple chapters, it ultimately didnt...
well he's got a general and sub-commanders now, the ranks are filling in nicely.
what is he missing at this point? spy master maybe?
-general military is decent for now, more could join tho.
-one-(wo)man-armies he already has 1 actual and 2 in training (chloe is probably close already tho)...
hmmm im wondering if they are going to fix the names, or just roll with these going forward.
in the novel version i read, the one sent to try to kill the mythic beast was called "Saber God", whereas "Sword God" is the one in charge and giving the orders
saber and sword have pretty similar...
oh geez...
i think it was page 9 where this weird idea popped into my head: "somehow this feels like an open-ended final chapter"
and that notion got far stronger on page 14 :/
one of the few time my intuition is right and its a big negative :(
