This manga is held back hugely by its monthly release cycle (and occasionally the questionable translation quality). I recommend reading it in larger chunks, the story makes a lot more sense that way, the hints of the true events behind the scenes being much easier to spot.

It was heavily hinted in the previous chapters that Tsubaki was being blackmailed or otherwise forced to do some of the stuff she did. (That might potentially be what she thinks Jimi-sensei and her got in common.) Doesn't quite excuse her going through with it though.

Eh, I don't know. I feel the story undermines its own premise (the protagonist being in the eleventh hour) if they can solve family problems festering for years just like that, in a single afternoon.

I have a hard time taking the claim that exposing an affair among the nobles would allow these conspirators to start a revolution seriously. It'd be embarrassing, sure. I can even understand how some would prefer to have Melida killed instead of facing such embarrassment. But an uprising? Really...?

So how did he find out...? Am I missing something, or will it only be revealed in the next chapter?

Are things like "cheat", "reincarnation" or "second life" considered buzzwords for manga titles or something? This is like the 123416th title with yet another variation on the same phrases. Originality aside, how do they expect the readers to be able to tell these apart...?

@remiska Someone uploaded two versions of chapter 29 which were both subsequently deleted - but they still count as the latest chapter, thus you don't see chapter 28 anymore.

Sayu was making some very stupid decisions in the last chapter, but this took things to a whole new level of idiocy. She thinks if she sleeps with him, the guy will leave her alone? How naive can she be?

*Usual reminder that scanlators usually do this for free, in their free time* I think groups who scanlate a series are well within their rights to leave notes on the images. It's not like they are altering the dialog or obscuring the panels. I barely even notice them, honestly.

Thanks for the translation, but man, this story is going nowhere fast. I mean, what happened in this chapter, fanservice aside? They just keep talking and talking... and in the end the guy will probably end up with the snake girl, since she was the first one. So much potential wasted... :(

@comeonnow0 My thoughts exactly. Slow knows the guy's going to turn against them sooner or later; if he investigated his mother for that reason, why didn't he tell him the news immediately? This "twist" makes no sense whatsoever.

@ilaya I did. Trust is unsurprisingly an important aspect of the whole thing - these girls do not necessarily even know each other (as I wrote above), so I don't see how that is being upheld here. Which brings us back to my original question: why would they bother...?

I know a manga doesn't necessarily mimic real life, but just how many girls would be okay with knowing that their "boyfriend" is dating several others girls at the same time? It does not even seem to be the case where the girls know each other either. Why would someone want to go into such a...
