    Kimetsu no Yaiba

Weird that I have such a different opinion when it comes to this series compared to most people here, or the overall rating for that matter. I've lasted until chapter 49 - pretty much non-stop fights, the author seems to be writing by the seat of his pants, lots of twists that feel like an ass...

The Girl Who Could See Emotions - Oneshot

Interesting (if a bit weird). He says the girl does not have any emotions, even though she's constantly happy. What's up with that?

Okyu no Trinity - Vol. 1 Ch. 2 - Now, To the First Mission!

The supposed spies entering through the front door. Smooth. 🙄

I Shaved. Then I Brought a High School Girl Home. - Vol. 2 Ch. 10

Her kouhai let him off the hook surprisingly easily. "So you are living with a minor who you basically don't know anything about? Oh well, it's not like you would do anything to her anyway." Seriously...?

    Rokudou no Onna-tachi - Vol. 18 Ch. 153 - Our Fight

@FaOzz Perhaps Ranna is finally becoming less "evil" and thus the mark occasionally has less of an effect on her? Wishful thinking I guess, but it would be awesome...

Himari no Mawari - Vol. 2 Ch. 10 - Himari Wants To Find

@EroZero I didn't drop it myself, but it's undeniable that season 2 is almost an entirely different show compared to season 1. Fans of the latter were not too amused.

Heh, love the Hungarian references. XD

Yami no Moribito - Vol. 3 Ch. 19

Great adaptation, enjoyed it a lot! :D Thank you for scanlating the series!

Tonikaku Kawaii - Vol. 8 Ch. 75 - Thinking of you

As much as it's starting to frustrate people, me included, I guess we really only have ourselves to blame, considering the manga does exactly what it says on the tin: there might be no plot progression, the protagonists might be acting weirdly for newlyweds, but it's nonetheless cute, every...

    Chousuinou Kei ~Makafushigi Jiken File~ - Vol. 1 Ch. 3 - The Cursed Melody, Part 3

This was way too weird to take seriously.

    Chousuinou Kei ~Makafushigi Jiken File~ - Vol. 1 Ch. 2 - The Cursed Melody, Part 2

This is being dragged out quite a bit.

    Chousuinou Kei ~Makafushigi Jiken File~ - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - The Cursed Melody, Part 1

Fun fact: the Hungarian song "Gloomy Sunday" ("Szomorú Vasárnap") does exist, and urban legends indeed link it to suicides. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gloomy_Sunday)

5Toubun no Hanayome - Vol. 12 Ch. 97 - The Ordinary Days Start Changing

Why can't they just do both takoyaki and pancakes? Neither type of food seems to be horribly complicated.

Monku no Tsukeyou ga nai Rabukome - Vol. 3 Ch. 36

Don't tell me there's actually going to be plot in this story. Sacrilege! :P

We Shall Now Begin Ethics - Vol. 2 Ch. 9 - The Real Me

@Clover_Zero That sounds perfectly healthy to me - as long as you don't let the Internet and the need for online recognition control your life, it's common human behavior to seek said recognition at various places. :)

We Shall Now Begin Ethics - Vol. 2 Ch. 8 - Ordinary Person

An interesting subject, but I never understood the common manga trope of "no talents, no dreams, nothing I want to do passionately. I'm a very ordinary person". There are loads of manga characters who claim this, but dude, if that's how you think of yourself, you're not ordinary, you're getting...

We Shall Now Begin Ethics - Vol. 2 Ch. 7 - The Qualities of a Teacher

@Straborvsky I don't want to comment on your experiences since I obviously wasn't there, but in this specific case in the manga I do not think the student was taking advantage of the teachers' kindness. That would require a conscious decision not to try solving your problem even though you have...

We Shall Now Begin Ethics - Vol. 2 Ch. 7 - The Qualities of a Teacher

@auriga You're right, Takayanagi was way out of his element here, and I don't blame him for it. I was mostly referring to the general application of "equality" in school, which often feels like more of an excuse not to do anything.

We Shall Now Begin Ethics - Vol. 2 Ch. 7 - The Qualities of a Teacher

@Straborvsky You know, after reading/watching the "Silent Voice" manga/film, I've became convinced that this whole "treating students equally" is just idiocy beyond a certain point. Yes, a teacher should not have favorites (or the opposite). But his primary goal, as also mentioned in this...

We Shall Now Begin Ethics - Vol. 2 Ch. 7 - The Qualities of a Teacher

This is probably even more of a controversial situation in Japan, where hugs and other close physical contact are regarded as more intimate compared to the west. This chapter was suffocating, I don't know what the right choice would have been either. The kid really does need a therapist.
