@Nightlilygirl- If you haven't already, Maika-san Chi no Makanai-san is just as comforting. It's all about Maiko in Kyoto, so there's definitely a lot of culture there (and I think Sol Cafe does a good job of explaining it every chapter). No romance though. ?
