I understand bullying being an issue but the author making these guys extra toxic is more annoying than anything.
@robloxoof ugly and low social standing. It's funny because I'm pretty sure he's described as 'average' all around by the author but they still treat him quite unfairly.
I would sympathize and I find the premise of a beat-down retired hero interesting, but it's not like he can't just do something with his skills. Maybe he doesn't want to draw attention to himself? Seems that he has a trauma that is severely affecting his outlook at life.
