Is it not possible that the childhood friend is in love with the MC himself over the years. I feel like it's a fair possibility that isn't being brought up in the comments
This is literally the same scenario being written for like the fourth time. None of the plot lines established early on have been brought up again. Why does the author keep adding girls when it's obvious they don't and won't contribute anything to the story.
@rapeman I mean this chapter is pretty important for the MC to understand the situation he's in is partially his fault.
On another note I don't get how people are complaining the GF dumped him at the "worst possible time." Like it's obvious she's been with him for at least a year in this...
@KebabRemover it's not really character development. MC ruined his social standing in class doing the same thing he's been doing all series. He doesn't know an actual solution to problems without hurting himself. Which is why he bought into the crap do easily.
I don't get why you're pretending...
@KebabRemover we know the MC was genuine because we can read his thoughts. Sungouk has no reason to believe he was serious at all. Especially the unforgivable shit he's done. I would have preferred a redemption arc myself but I can sort of see where the author was coming from
@KebabRemover he'd still have to deal with the possibility that MC will tell eventually. Sung doesn't know how serious mc is and probably wanted to wipe out that possibility. MC himself is just really easy to manipulate.
@KebabRemover The MC is still a very real threat to Sungouk and his relationship with Hamin. He's telling him the whole truth about himself to try and get mc to understand him. He's manipulating the MC and we see it almost work until Korean Bakugo showed up. This really isn't a case of Sungouk...
@DonHazzy actually their gender wasn't revealed until the last moment. We get a glimpse of Jonwoo being uncomfortable after that revelation but acts cool until he realizes who it was.
@DonHazzy probably referring to MC getting jealous over the friendship between Hamin and the other dude which is pretty dumb. It's obvious Hamin has a special place in his heart and it'd be impossible for him not to feel anything about it
