One of my favourite things about this manga is that the misunderstandings don't get needlessly dragged out.
Also Ueno for his incorruptible pure pureness.
That's a nice cover for volume 1.
It's gonna be an adventure with Frieren and her two kids at this rate. Be good to get another regular character though, good for character building, especially for Fern it seems. She's largely only had Frieren to bounce off of so far.

@TienYL You should really spoiler tag that. Anyway, just give it time.
The more I read the first fifth of this series the more I notice how the author used it to set up these important contrasts between certain characters. It doesn't look very subtle in hindsight...
Oh, so they added a bit here that wasn't in the novel... But I like how Jiho subtly defused the tension when Dani realized she screwed up immediately after promising she had nothing else to hide from them.
@NightQueen It's a fun series to re-read. I find I end up noticing hints and foreshadowing the author dropped but didn't fully grasp the significance of the first time.
@frenchfry
Frieren's phantom changed from her master to Himmel. And whereas her master pleaded for her life, Himmel just told her to shoot him... Goddamn it, Himmel.
