I wonder if the winter curse keeps the ML and everyone he also passed the curse to in that territory. It would explain why he waited so long and didn't straight out tell her about the curse. I also wonder if the ML's enemies opposite curse is doing the same thing to his enemies.

@reanseih everytime I read a story that is centered on military and there is no swearing in it, I get pulled out of it because it feel unrealistic to me. Maybe there are super polite militaries out there, but I dunno, it just seems weird there are narratives that exist without swearing.
