Well, this isn't too surprising. This author does tend to sprinkle some drama into their stories, but generally it's just in the service of having things turn out better in the end. We all remember that bit in Bocchi Kaibutsu etc. etc. where

Sudden drama just as suddenly resolved? It feels like there should have been a few more pages, both before and after things were fixed. And why end? This series is cute and fluffy.

Oh come on, don't let things end like this.

...Did anything even happen in this chapter? The situation hasn't notably changed from start to finish. A bunch of posturing and people being stupid to no effect, and it ends right back where it could have been at the beginning.

@HungryIm: You clearly didn't fully read what I said. We've seen young Momo after she was rescued, but before her memory was altered. She was sane, not traumatized, and was making friends and helping others deal with their problems.

This leaves us with unsettling questions about Momo's origins. Also, I'm really not sure that keeping this info from Momo is wise. Yes, it's a hard and traumatic past, but she moved past it and was making a new life for herself. She made friends with Mikan before this memory erasure, after all...

So... wait... Momo was some sort of magically/genetically modified child soldier who Sakura rescued?! Bloody hell, author, as if the poor thing hadn't suffered enough already. I can't say I approve of them erasing Momo's memories like that. It's hard to believe that an adorable silly series...
