I love the atmosphere and tone of the first panels dominated by the red and black. It's been done a number of times before but I especially like how it's done in this manhua.

oh my ~ i do feel the tension from the situation the mc's in-- it's been a *while* since i've read a manhua able to do that! and here i thought the pacing's a bit too slow. pfft! turns out i just got too used to the fancy WHaM BaM style of most manhua along this genre.
