Bittersweet. I mean, if it was gonna be axed, the mangaka did a lovely job of a last chapter given the constraints. But it sure as hell left me wanting more.
"Looks like it's gonna rain."
"Really?" (downpour)
"Told ya."
"How did you know?!"
"Only thing being this old is actually good for. I've seen a lot of weather."
@dsid2814 I was making a point with sarcasm. Didn't think it would need elaboration, but I was annoyed that some male chauvinist was after the girl to quit her job and be barefoot in the kitchen . . . when the immediate thing wasn't even caused by her job.
@Tamerlane In this series you can tell when a man isn't an asshole because he doesn't die before the chapter's over.
What I find amusing is that clearly for her, being a professional assassin with the cops breathing down your neck is much less stressful than her previous office job.
I dunno. I mean, I'm the villain to a few people, but that's because I'm an opinionated SOB. But I've known people who are much nicer than I am and who as far as I can tell really aren't the villain to much of anyone, and contrariwise are helpful to quite a few. So I dunno, it sounds...
Metal Bat's spirit won't be beat by any lame ass sedation.
I'm betting he'll escape and it'll be a big break in the neo heroes' shiny image, and a major forward step in the plot as some of the heroes who are kind of suspicious but can't put their finger on anything get a major confirmation.
