I never understand flashback cliffhangers. We know he shows up, we know they continue dating, etc. There's zero suspense or revelations, just fluffy moments separated by a week of waiting.
Did everyone get lobotomized when we weren't looking? That's it? For a climax of several plot threads that's extremely mundane and boring. Alice, you're moms been 'dead' for like a decade, show some shock and awe, will ya?
Alright, adding in (potentially) fictional creatures.. lemme check my watch.. 129 chapters in, is a power move to avoid stagnation and maybe even Axe-san if I've ever seen one (not like it's going to work, that ship sailed by the halfway mark.) Let's see how it plays out. It's a bit odd that I...
Could be like an FMA-style resurrection, where it wasn't really them who got brought back. That's pretty in-line with Lovecraft. Nothing is ever simple.
That's a damn expensive figurine for one so boring and simple. More importantly, is she that popular in its home country to warrant one of her? Would of figured (ha) some of the others were more popular. Low quantity also doesn't mean it should be priced super high, especially if the quality or...
Someone really jumped the gun with those two new tag additions. The Yuri/Shoujo Ai makes up 1% of the entire manga other than a few off comments, and doesn't even involve the majority of main characters. Not enough to warrant such a 'hard' story-defining tag
Now can we get back to the main "couple"? I thought the axe was looming overhead, but they skipped over the main two lightning fast for a side ship in 2 chapters, which isn't something that normally happens until after the main couple gets together.
In general the only one with actual feelings that are even slightly developed is Bat, who has been really good since her debut, even if she has been pushed back as chapters have come out. We wasted so much development and chapter time on Hyena (that always got reset to 0, or had just a tiny bit...
I hope we get back to the mansion SOON. Or at least a concrete sprint towards the finish line. I don't think I can take the drag and shuffle away from the original and gimmick source anymore. It's like Komi-san all over again.
