@Khott If we go by the first chapter, after her engagement they wanted to kill her on the way to the Dukes. For some political reason i can only surmise. So for her to leave with the Duke and alive was not apart of their plan.

well that was a plot forced loss. From the authors own map we see that the humans and elves would be attacking from different sides. So how is The battle elf, The human Knights FIRST "Orc" kill when the humans would have to travel through the battle between the frontline elves and the orcs...
