@NZPIEFACE Yui didn't have much time to tap into Hiroki's strength since Daiki was already moving to kill Hiroki's body with his knife. Maybe she also thought killing her body would kill Daiki (and leave his original body soulless), but her last words definitely felt like she wanted to keep...

It seemed like Yui mortally wounded her body in such a way that when time ran out, Daiki would wake up in his own body before his soul would die in Yui's body. Either that, or the very Cross Method is a temporary spell that was always designed to return swapped souls to their original bodies...

@Kaarme It's more the combination of fast movement + wet surface that invokes hydroplaning (followed by a tumble, then a possible sharp neck-focused impact with the stair).
