@Coffee_2512 Feel free! @Halo I'll take your support as a win 8D And nice graph! And yeah, most people just want to read, but for those that care about tags (like me), I started this campaign 😍

@BestBoy I would honestly like a Villain tag, one that indicates the protagonist is an actual villain (so I guess Villain Protagonist for a more proper tag term), for things like Overlord and Youjo Senki, where we actually get a villainous protagonist. A couple Villainess might cross into there...

@Halo And see? That's the problem. You don't get to choose the demographic as a fan, the publisher chooses the demographics of the work. The magazine they run the manga in determines the demographic. Not what you think it should be, it is Shounen because the magazine is shounen. It is...

@JJTheWeeb Spoke to mods, the poll can't be changed by them...but if Holo's around he might be able to do it? They pinged him, so time will tell if the second option will be changed (or removed). My brain was on auto pilot when I was making the thread, so when I made the poll option and it said...

@Halo you also have to count the people that mis-demographic titles just because they "seem shoujo", but actually run in Seinen or Josei magazines (I've seen that a lot sadly and correct them when I find them). There's also plenty of new titles of Villainess that haven't gotten into mangaupdates...

@NixenSya In halo's defense, I did actually post a link in our discord server people could easily click and not have to type out 😂But I thank you for your support and having the love of Villainess to have you type out the URL to come here and voice your opinion! As for the Reijou tag, "Akuyaku...

@Halo If Villainess was a tag, I could easily filter out the Seinen and Josei ones and show you 🤣

@hazzack but let's assume there were hundreds (and if you include syosetu, thousands) of stories and manga/hwa/hua where the main point of the story was that the ninja wasn't actually a ninja but actually XXX that people referred to as Ninajaess (I'm sorry I'm bad at names). That's Villainess...

@Alamut While I wouldn't mind a "Reijou" label, because as you said it does encompass more stories that fit the same tropes that people like, Villainess is a well-known and well-lauded term, whereas if you're not weeb enough, you won't understand what "Reijou" means (and "Noble Girl" just falls...

@bigtiddyoneesan Let me see if I can put it into words well (I'm sure someone else can do a much better job than me XD). I feel like when we have the male Villain protagonist, they're actually a villain (granted they tend to do good things with their villainy, like picking up lost souls to add...

@Halo Ah see, that's the problem, and it was brought up in a previous comment. Villainess is not only Shoujo. it's also Josei and Seinen. It's a trope that belongs to multiple demographics, not just aimed towards young girls. i.e. "The Villainess' Slow Prison Life Began with a Broken Engagement"...

Chinese (Taiwan) as original language option

The language tags are language based, not country of origin based. The few English based language works on here (and the flag for English translations) use the British flag, but I doubt even 10% are done by british or British-English standards (most are American/Canadian/South-East-Asian English).

@Halo I'm all for slavery trope tag 🤗Also is rape technically already a tag, considering the sensitive content tag? 🤔 Also that description of vote brigading...none of the reviews are false? All of these are from people that love Villainess (the only false would be if people are using secondary...

@Halo brigading is usually a harassment tactic...so unless the mods/admins consider campaigning for an additional tag as harassment...??? XD It's cool if you don't want a Villainess tag, and it's cool if you do. I just think there's such a huge swath of Villainess works on mangadex, and also the...

@Tophatta add to that, a lot of the ones that fit the category that villainess lovers usually like, also extends to Josei and Seinen demographics, so Shoujo is not a good fit for finding the kinds of stories you want (or at least, not all of them).

Though I May Be a Villainess, I'll Show You I Can Obtain Happiness! - Vol. 3 Ch. 5 - I Shall Take You Up on Your Offer With Pleasure

@unime in all likelyhood she was actually naturally pretty, since she didn't "revert". But now that her "perfect prince" is a fugface, will her superficiality Lilydia commented on come in to play and she'll leave him? Who knows!

@erryky no, it's implied the previous head didn't remarry from Alfred's line that the previous head was always waiting for his wife to return.
