A fair warning, I've read that in the chapter down the road it spoils part still not adapted in the main manga. EDIT: NOPE IT FREAKING SPOILS THE MANGA AND NOVEL FROM THE FIRST PAGE. If you don't want to be spoiled in a certain aspect of the main manga and novel don't read it.

Yes it is a really bad cliffhanger and even in the novel it wasn't a cliffhanger since it was freaking obvious that the blood was of the guy being killed by one of the monsters.

What a wholesome chapter this was. And he is practically invulnerable buuuuuuut we all know that the hero (the teen from the last chapter) will have some skill like "Epic Mythology: Heroic light" or somehting that pretty much negates that invul value and makes it so he can kill OgreDad.
