Man this is such a great manga!
I shrugged it off at first because I thought this is just another isekai I-came-from-an-advanced-civilization-so-I-bring-technology-to-this-another-world thing, but nope, this is a story of someone who is at the lowest point of his life trying to better himself...
I love this title, everyone at chapter 1 with the exception of the fortune teller are just so shitty that you can't help but to feel that the girl will get more hardships from other people along the way to show how scummy the people of the world is, but so far nothing like that has happened and...
@Robbini Hmm.. I guess that's true, but then I guess they can make the slave actually male? but I guess that wouldn't work because now there's less waifu so it'll be less marketable material.
Just commenting as a story reader.
Hmm I feel like I both love and hate this chapter at the same time. On one hand, it's the continuation of one of my favorite chapter of the anthology and the first two thirds of it is excellent, but on the other hand I really am not sure how to feel about the last third. Like, I get that this...
And of course it's a female slave, and an elf too at that.
Don't get me wrong, it's just that the "MC buys a young beautiful slave of the opposite sex, and treats them like xXtotallyNotSlaveXx" trope is starting to get tiring.
This is my guilty pleasure manga now I guess, everyone is such garbage human being that no matter who gets shit on, I can watch them guilt-free.
@Solemmaru The LN is illustrated by Shiokonbu, so I assume the manga is trying to emulate that art style.
Hmm it's probably just me but I feel like ever since this story segment has started the pacing seems a little bit.. off.
IDK I feel like barely anything is clicking, but then again it's probably just me.
