@Infamouspixie70
I was 100% sure that manga readers would be the first ones to discover what was the purpose of the student chapters, I guess my expectations were too high.
Episode 1 must have been enough to make you suspicious.
SPOILER if you're not up to date with the manga and haven't watch...
@lessermonk
Volume 1 - Chapter 1
The manga already reached the arcs that need the information presented on the other students chapters.
Also it doesn't help that novel Kumoko and manga Kumoko are almost 2 different characters.
Difference between personalities (marked as spoiler to not make...
@Shunrei
I don't understand why people call the students story a harem. At most is a love triangle.
Guys remember, just becuase a girl talks to a boy it doesn't mean that she likes him.
@Hehahe
Because the anime is an adaptation of the NOVEL not the manga, so they went with a design closer to the novel.
Literally the best decision they made. The novel designs are much better than the manga.
@SeryjVolk
I know. When Kumo got it and said that it was great I thought "Right because that's totally not a mental disease".
Well I still enjoy my cute schizophrenic spider.
@ReRead
The dungeon arc isn't that long. In the novel it's just the first 3 volumes.
The anime should end that arc in 12 episodes.
I would be more worried that the anime could go beyond the manga, because at this speed the anime can easily finish volume 5 and even volume 6 (but imo the best...
@Jxion
No, this is just another try of the manga to make Kumo look more morally white.
In the novel she brought and ate the bandits herself, she even has later a dialogue about how humans tasted different depending on some factors.
[Ignore the part above, I'm wrong]
The parallel wills do start...
@Writerfromanotherstar
Amazon or Bookwalker
@lolzninja4
The manga has cut everything that has something to do with the other students (S Chapter, Interlude, etc).
But has adapted very well Kumoko's part of the story. If you want in the future do a jump to the Light Novel you only need to read...
@lolzninja4
For the LN you can go to amazon, bookwalker or other site to buy the volumes.
If you want to read all the series in on go you can technically read the WN but keep in mind that the LN changed several events and added new arcs. In fact this last arc (Mother's battle) is a LN original...
@InfiniteEel
Pacing issues.
The manga has been running for 5 years already and it's barely ending LN volume 4, now imagine if the mangaka added the side chapters.
There's also the schedule. With the current releases it would means that one month we would see Kumoko and the other month the side...
@Virtai
If what you found was something like chapter 1XX, that's the Web Novel. Do not read the Web Novel.
The manga is based on the Light Novel which change events and adds several new arcs.
This chapter is the very end of volume 4, if you want to jump to the Light Novel start in Volume 5...
