@DeadlyShadow0
It's a little more complicated than that. Ariel didn't got born as a normal taratect, she always had the appearance she has now.
Just to give you an idea hoe special she is
@Smokeball
Yeah, it's a little annoying but the Web Novel was like this too.
In the novel it took 150 chapters until Kumoko scaped from the labyrinth.
But tbf in the WN there were moments where we had 2 chapters per week.
@PokWan
There's an inconsistency about teletransportation between the Novel and Manga.
In the Novel teletransportation instantly moves you from one place to another. Meanwhile the manga portrays it as a gate.
Also after a certain point all the monsters have Dimensional Maneuvering which is the...

Volume 4 - The recurring enemy of the weak get defeated right away (i think)
Personally I think you should start from the beginning in the Light Novel. The manga skips all the chapters from the other reincarnated students that are an essential part of the world building.

Through a hole the puppets can open on the wall.
The point of Kumoko using water is to keep the puppets away from the thin rock wall that Kumoko created to seal the path.
Lava is slower than water that gives the puppet enough time to just break the wall and escape.
@Brutu
I'm surprised that no one else has thought about the possibility of the Spiders being able to abandon the puppet shell.
Lava is slower than water the puppet just need to open a little hole and if their bodies catch fire the spider just leave the puppet to escape through the hole.
@anggitoz
I think it was different in the LN.
There Kumoko only fished the water drakes using her web. She never touched the water until Ariel splattered her.
@Vmpslushie
Manga skipping rules.
Space storage can't store nothing that is considered alive and can't store something other is touching.
The puppet is connected to the fist size spider.
@BoredTears
Author-kun said that he use it as "no way".
That word is supposed to be a catchphrase that only Kumoko use and it will be important later to know which student Kumoko was in the classroom.
@maltytorch
Yeah, the manga is currently on LN volume 4 of 12. But, there's also the fact that even the LN hasn't reach the point where the WN stopped.
P.D: I skipped a lot of spoilers in the "small" list I made some comments ago starting with the fact that the manga is skipping half of each LN...
