yeah, definetly a weird ending, i guess it was axed. a shame, the story was nice and the art was pretty good as well. could have become a stable for me.

poor MC really is destined to always move forward. and the fact that the "intelligent sage" cannot figure out the key issue in the party and the problems he created really makes one wonder about the Sage class itself.

i like how before we saw a mountain of defeated peoples and now the last panel only shows a single person defeated on the magician side. still, we know of them, and that indiscriminate attack wouldn't really make me wanna keep those attackers alive, but they're likely part of the current arc, so...

as if that'd work. she might just be another pawn of the count. if she loses and lost her life, they will take it as a reason to eradicate the goblins, if she stays alive, he might just drop her off and blame it on her, since she's an adventurer and all. or maybe i read too much into this story...

some series always give a vibe of being prepared to get axed at any chapter...

btw, why did he leave the village? revenge trip? did i miss an exact reason in a past chapter? if so, please lemme know which. :D

wait, this was only the prologue so far. LOL well, i guess they build up alot of characters for potential later plots and since the (manga) series wasn't ended (axed or not) it seems they will go further with it. i just hope the series will last long enough and won't be dropped.
