This is really going in a weird way where the manga explicitly said acting like a hero just for the sake of it is messed up as hell. That was with Saike. Now we have Calim. And now we have Hizu, idolizing the thing Saike was explicitly criticized for.
This was so unsatisfying on absolutely every single level. Saike points out that there's no point to rock-paper-scissors if she can read all of his movements. So what's the point to that part of the game? Uh...herp derp, no answer. Instead, we get treated to Saike winning and then...herp derp...
If Min Min is so good at reading people's movements, then it should be possible to win at rock-paper-scissors. But nope, not even going to touch that, huh? This was stupid.
She still has never explained anything to anyone about herself or her actions. That's regardless of how rude or hurtful she has already been in the past to multiple people. I guess I'll give her a chance in the next chapter or something to explain anything, but I doubt it'll give a good reason...
@andrmnh According to TVTropes, it took about one year in real life to publish this match. The entirety of the Ryouzan arc, including before the match started, was around 100 chapters.
@Duckiedoggo You're missing all of the coaching that she did. Ryousuke and Katou weren't in Ryouzan the whole year. They were off doing their own thing in the national team. Despite that, she still led the remaining team to undefeated victory throughout the year. If we listen to any of what you...
This was the first chapter of the series I read (and likely my last). Popped in after reading the description and seeing the tags and figuring out what it's about. The rival just seems creepy as all hell; in literally any other circumstance, the rival would be called a very clear asshole, but...
I know I'm late to the party, but I want to point out something here. People like @Crookshanks are being massively hypocritical here. For the record, maybe next chapter it's revealed that the dad was reacting negatively. Maybe it's something completely different. The point is that as of right...
I binge read the thirteen chapters that have already been released. This is such absolute shit. First, what is Soma's personality?...Uh, herp derp, don't know, let's make him cocky right now even though he had previously shown nothing of that. Why does he have that kind of personality? Herp...
The younger brother is a hypocrite. Even with his growth so far, he's guilty of exactly what he hated in his older brother: that his brother didn't care about him. Like, it's good that the younger brother doesn't want to be a drag on the team. That's fine. It shows a care and concern for others...
Yeah, still hating the little brother. What about me? He literally saved your ass from the middle school/junior high bullies when you couldn't do anything to save yourself. And that was AFTER the little brother said he would be taking Hinata. And yet he has the dumbfuckery to say that his...
A manga that I started reading about maybe 2005, it was still ongoing. When I watched the first two seasons of "The Expanse", I felt like the plot was kinda similar: In the manga, people start to develop or contract a disease, their flesh turns into crystal and they behave like zombies, without...
Honestly sounds like China is taking a page from Japan's book and hoping it goes over as well as Japan. Purge the ethnic minorities and either have them assimilate into your majority or otherwise force them out.
Let me be clear that I am not supporting China. I am saying we should criticize...
@dojinshi Maybe glamorizing was too strong a word. The author has definitely made it a point to make them relatable on some level, though.
And that goes to a huge point. The act of making your protagonist a stalker already, in and of itself, makes the stalker and the act of stalking relatable...
