@Knighto Yes, I remember the premise. They don't need to stop their fake relationship...they'd just stop getting closer and he would distance himself when they don't need to pretend.
@ohms This takes place far into the future. We don't now...but in this story, they do in the future. Which isn't odd...we get taught things now in school that 100 or so years ago wasn't taught...or wasn't taught until a much higher grade.
@Emanon_qp If already infected, yes...if not infected, no.
@itainteazy Kaede was always kinda weird with Tetsuo, anyway. Like how she was when she found out he was moving away...her reaction was more like a jilted girlfriend than an actual childhood friend. So I definitely agree with you saying she was leading him on.
@kiero13 You're hallucinating then. I'm just stating a fact. Most people would take silence as an answer and decide it's time to move on...unless they were obsessed or just loved the other person too much to make that decision to let go. Stop strawmanning.
@Cacklea "But he’s been living as a girl for what more than a couple of months." You realize that backs up my point, right? That makes it a habit...something people often do without thinking about. It's why I brought up muscle memory. She'd been on her own so long that it all became a habit...
@Roadrunner9000 We must be reading some very different ones, then. Most I've read, most wouldn't dare to attack someone who's so high in cultivation. They're not "seeking death" after all. Why do you think most characters in these stories always stand down when someone much stronger shows...
@DeusNine No, studies show it's biological in nature. Brain scans(MRI) of homosexual males closely resemble those of heterosexual females, for example. But as I said...that's if the author was really trying to make this have a scientific view...or maybe the author just isn't aware of the...
@Nehona If the author was truly going for a scientific view on this...then "he" should find "himself" being attracted to the opposite sex whether "he" likes it or not...unless she was actually born with the chemical makeup of a lesbian in her brain, anyway. Sexual preference is biological, after...
