To be real honest, it has good world-building and a good mystery set up. The MC has a brain and lots of generic plot devices are questioned early on/resolved. Every chapter there is progression in the whole "why does everyone die at 20", "who set up these rules" and "how do we stop the curse"...

For some reason, Kurotama always writes super duper short incomplete one-shots that look like they have potential but always die right before anything actually develops. If only they could write more than an introduction...I really like their style too
