Hmmm, that is curious how the countess is planning to kill the emperor there - even more so since Nocton's 'novel' plan was to make him his puppet via magic. I guess he got rid of his family there and decided to do more or less the same - usurp power in the empire
But I really hope she is...
@Akera93
She did not read till that part, I think, so her ignorance about black magic is understandable.
Still, how in the world she missed such 'familial' atmosphere there, duh...
@Kynnath not to mention she does not need to make more children, since she is marrying a man with direct heir (at least from bystander's perspective).
Damn, she really got every thing thought up... Aside from church's influence.
@Kronous
The older he is, the more max mana he has. Aside from uses per hour skills also require mana to work.
@Aretheus
But he told guild masters he is basically planning to make a team of hero levels from his party members, so he had some thoughts about that.
So, Escliffe's desire to 'keep their line pure' is also stems from the temple? It is obvious that they have blood ties to the clergy since only the light users are its members. Still, there is a matter of their powers being pretty low despite their CK-esque marriages
@Heenimakira
Since she procured a 'treasure of ruined imperial family' I guess she could have used her world knowledge and simply 'discover' long lost artifacts. And then selling it to imperial family or whoever else. But discreetly enough to not cause a national-wide uproar/rumor mill, so...
Even if Hades misunderstood her antic during their sleep together, he was right - she is a pretty good actress))
Also, damn. Imagine his face when he will find out the 'sponsor' is really just her ruse to safely make money.
Well, just like Hades said in ch1, her escapades could hardly be kept supported by her family financically since her family is considered to be in pretty bad shape. And yet here she barges in like nothing in the world is wrong. Now he knows the reason, :D
Now I am waiting for true story. Hell...
It is quite interesting how Escliffes basically had a legit reason for that kind of inbreeding. And yet it looks like their line is about to die out ^___^
Also well, it does not look like the light element is so weak to die out after a generation or so because there certainly wouldn't have been...
@jenniilex3
Potentially, it is possible that Abel indeed belongs to that family by blood, despite not being ML's biological son. I mean, someone from his family could have sired a 'bastard line', so to speak. Their similar appearence can be explained that way easily *shrugs*
Well...
Mission failed successfully?😀
I mean, she is in a win-win situation there - literally ZERO reason for her to refuse this offer and defuse this misunderstanding
Also, her standarts for stanning are quite excessive
