I wouldn't mind a Yuri storyline to make things more varied but I think people are getting their hopes up too fast. It could simply mean she loves to toy with that kind of people.
Next chapter will probably confirm or deny it.
@xxlv
There's another isekai story where the actual heroine (of yet another plot that got derailed wildly) has the power of "love". When she finally uses it by the end of the first long arc, they find out it causes feelings of love no matter what, so everyone loses their will to fight when...
@AnonDePlume
At least in real life, that's not how state-level surveillance works. It won't be just Lorem and Zeke who get placed under surveillance but also any known and unknown associates.
Smartphones are notoriously insecure and prone to hacking with the right tools, and whatever video...
@KRAZY I generally read stuff until chapter 60 or so or until 100 if it's slow before dropping it.
Some stories have really slow/boring/deceptively generic beginnings and later get good.
Sidis might be odd, but the heroine seems too accepting of a guy professing a deep love for her out of fucking nowhere. It would weird the fuck out of me if someone started acting like that right from the get go.
The arc after the village arc is basically the last one in vol1 of the novel. The writing stays shit until the very end in the novel, so I don't really have any hopes for this.
Still kinda sad the translator for the novel (same one that translated the first chapters of this) stopped at like chapter 86, because that's about the point where the main character finally starts having to fight seriously.
Has anyone made a better translation of the WN? IIRC it's getting close to the point where the translation suddenly got terrible, which is around the time
ML being honest with his feelings from the get go is the only good part of this entire arc. This shit is going beyond dumb at this point.
If she rejects him again, it better be the end of her feelings for him for good and not some stupid excuse to go into another nonsense arc.
The plot is getting closer to the point where he actually starts facing a capable enemy and not just impulsive assholes that he can defeat in 2 chapters.
I don't get people suggesting JPEG XL when WebP "only" supporting 80% of browsers is already a big problem according to the site admins.
Sure, it might work in the future, but does anything support it right now?
@Holo
Ah, if half the user base is on iOS then that is indeed a massive blocker. I mean, you could still serve different images to different people but the savings wouldn't be across all of the userbase and the complexity goes up.
I guess the only hope left is to wait and see if JPEG XL gets...
@BzzBzz Except Google actually uses it extensively on sites they control where it makes sense?
(i.e. where big bandwidth savings can be made)
As for browser support, technical sources show there's no issues with browser compatibility with the most used browsers
What you might be noticing...
Has Lossless WebP been considered as an alternative to PNG, now that all of the browsers that matter support it?
I heard you get smaller images by up to 26%
