@imnotamused As someone with a degree I can say they're not all that necessary. Especially for him who seems to not have any actual goals for the future. I don't know about in japan but college is kin of an unecessary expense unless you have some hard set goal you're focusing on.

@Meduchi That's because this story is based on the original book. It actually follows the plot very closely as all of the events depicted more or less happen in the book. The only large difference being that in the book Victor chose not to create the bride rather than the bride being unsuccessful.
