@dracostino So you want a complex character but you aren't willing to read far enough for the complexity to be developed. Sounds more like a 'you' problem to me.

@MothproofAcorn Are they one dimensional or do you not read far enough in to catch any complexity. It takes time to develop a complex character. Take this series for example. It is gradually showing more. Not just how naive he had been but how he had seen cracks in the story he was being told...

I set it to exclude long format webcomics so why do they keep showing up in my searches.

Was really expecting a different tone to the last fight. Considering how many times he showed empathy towards the demons he killed I really expected a similar scene for killing the big bad.

@zuccman Also keep in mind that 1k years is a very long time and if new ways were discovered to train powerful mages magical beast may have been wiped out. Look up an auroch and consider how many would think it a legend or a myth if they heard an old story about being attacked by one.

Rather interesting series so far. No sure why I was at the top like it had just been updated though.
