Mindfucked isnt really accurate. From how I interpreted the uncles speech it seems like the charm spell isn't really harmful to the MC. Shes been haughty and arrogant for awhile now but has done very little that I would consider evil.
That would be true in alot of cultivator fiction, but it...
@twinklecake I think her being a yandere is a small factor in her decision. Its more her wanting to emulate her master and the MC. That does fall in line with her character, I just dont agree with her choice. What merit is there in killing her? Shes not accomplishing anything by killing this...
@Blastronaught12 I dont really buy that she could go after the MC or his family. Hes a cop and lives in a fortified compound, it would be suicide to go after him. From the sounds of it, his family aren't pushovers either and would probably slaughter her if she stepped on their doormat.
@Enderzone I think in the logic of this universe your brain would stop working and youd die if you have too many memories. Thats why they needed the healing oracle before.
She really didn't need to kill the girl. The girl was defenseless and even if she had the courage to seek vengeance in the future there is no way that she would be strong enough to kill the fmc. It was wanton and excessive, but thats the whole point. Her mind has already been poisoned by the...
Yeah the brain doesnt actual work that way and even if it did, why would you die from it? Its not like a computer explodes when its memory capacity is filled up. I'd think youd just be unable to make new memories.
I think she wasn't originally cruel, only narcissistic. Having met the MC and her master she was influenced by them into thinking that a martial artist must be cruel and cold hearted so she is becoming that way.
China needs to fuck off with the traditional chinese medicine shit. Cancer paitents are forgoing chemo because they think traditional medicine works better and rhino's are going extinct because idiots think it works better then viagra.
@Ntfgit123 I cant tell if you think it should be rated higher or lower but It seems that some were expecting the MC to be more of a typical isekai edglord and were bummed when he turned out to be a zany comedy character.
Theres a big gulf between manhua and novel martial heros I think. Cultivation novels quite regularly have over a thousand chapters (martial god asura has like 5000 iirc), by the end of those stories the MC is almost always a god at minimum. Often they have reality bending and universal feats...
I dislike the cultivation system and post apocalyptic setting, but the relationship between the mc and heroine is very interesting and I want to see where it goes.
Having a really skilled but insubordinate warrior is an interesting challenge for shin. He hasn't had alot of leadership challenges of this type yet and I wonder how he will approach solving the problem.
Not all adults are emotionally mature and have developed social skills. I think the kind of person who obsesses over not being their wife's first partner is probably on the low end of that scale.
