@OmegaDragon We might get an extra with the Vol 2 release, but the manga's not continuing in January.
Unless I've just been misinterpreting what you + Shangus are saying and by "this series" you mean this omake + a potential second omake with the second volume (and not the manga itself), in...
@Shangus @OmegaDragon I'm guessing those people are referring to how the final chap's last page says "volume 2 will be released on January 27th" and getting it confused with thinking that means more chapters. Chapter 10 was itself the final chapter that'll be in Volume 2, but the actual volume...
So her subordinates are still busy fighting the other dragon, and she just goes "screw paying attention to that, I wanna fight this guy"? Well I guess she's got priorities, at least.
I'm guessing he's going to evolve the orcs, and then they'll win the women over.
The question then is whether he's gonna evolve the women, and if so, if they'll turn hot after that anyway, since the goblin evolution made all the women 10x bustier.
"Fenril", c'mon.
@WillTell She used it to see if he was fit for a construction job, so yeah she was probably just testing his physical strength to make sure he could lug heavy things around.
@Solipsist wrt the idiom, the jisho entry for reverse scale/逆鱗 mentions it https://jisho.org/search/%E9%80%86%E9%B1%97 ( 逆鱗に触れる , touching the reverse scale), along with the "imperial wrath" meaning, so it's not like the translator here just pulled it out of nowhere at least.
I gotta wonder if...
Surprised to see how little they dwelled on Sisbell revealing to Alice that she was the girl who Iska got arrested for saving. Expected that to be a bigger deal when it finally got revealed.
@Elroy79 Oh wow, that explains why I didn't mention it when I actually read the last chapter last month, I guess. When I read new chapters I always read the last page or so of the previous to get a minor recap, so I guess I just saw that page now + didn't realize it came after the actual end of...
So at the end of the last chapter we learn that apparently everyone in the town where most of this manga's taken place in was murdered by the Jeneret Kingdom, and then it's just left as a footnote and not talked about more in this chapter? Well alright then.
I wonder if Lumina's little "oh I...
This is a weird chapter, I'm pretty sure Isabelle did some bad shit earlier and wouldn't react like this to finding out that her magic was harming other people (unless this was just her reacting to the hit her reputation will take).
Not to mention, if the church was really keeping healing magic...
@Kireato Yeah, the fact that it was a suicide mission's part of what confuses me there, but his design/personality that got set up here doesn't feel like a char the author would just make + throw out this quickly. I could see him showing up somewhere down the line missing an arm or something...
WRT the credits page, did the young guy actually die? The text just mentions the sacrifice/mourning of the "heroic general" but in the panels before that they called the old guy (charging with the main force) the general, they just called the young guy "the young hawk of Xarooda". So it sounds...
With the last panel showing him about to hit level 20 as foreshadowing, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out he got some pretty OP skill at 20 that nobody had reached yet or something.
@Xel7 I wish I shared this optimism, in a heavy drama series like this I could see them realizing their feelings just being the beginning of a long drawn out "but does she feel the same way?" or "oh no they said something I took the wrong way and we'll take forever to clarify it" arc instead of...
