I don’t think Brotherhood ever explained why all of the people besides Marcoh who worked on the stone were dead or who the 5 officers that Kimblee killed were. They also didn’t show how Charlie and the rest met Mustang. This is enlightening.
You could notice a lot of differences between Brotherhood and the manga before, but it’s a lot more apparent here during the war. We got a lot of characters like Roa (chimera) and Basque Gran, Armstrong, and Hughes had quite a bit of backstory.
@HellifIknow Military? Is that even a fair comparisons, cuz I would say not due to the U.S. demilitarization and occupation of Japan after the Second World War. Even with the JSDF, the military is hardly a focus for them like it is for us, and for good reason. Really, we allocate way too much...
