I keep coming here hoping for a sweet tsundere Claude & Athy reunion only to get shoveled with more Jeanette. I know she's not the villain here but it sure is easy to hate her. If only she had some emotional maturity!! If fcking only.
Just my theory but the prince probably has such a bright fake gentleman persona that she's dazzled by the outer shell of his aura, not his actual personality that showed through a bit in this ch.
Go for it Rina! Reject the fake prince & find happiness with your girls!
Jennette was probably raised to be so naive that she can't even understand how she'd be hurting Athy if she stole Claude like this, I can't quite hate her but she's the type of character to give everyone around her a headache
except for Claude now, apparently. I wonder if the former Emperor did...
@Moodyz ah yes, it flew right over my head because I had no idea what you were talking about. My apologies for assuming you were asking something & trying to explain anything to you. I'm sure you're much smarter than I am for making such outside-the-box connections 😄
@Moodyz It's the diary entries from Asakura, the sexual predator teacher, & how he grew up without his mom. Then, when she came back, it's implied she sexually abused him, making him turn into the monster he is in the story.
Don't dismiss something just because you can't understand it, please...
So the notes at the end of each chapter were actually Asakura's, implying how he'd been sexually abused by his own mother when young. Doesn't make any of the things he did okay, but it makes a twisted sort of sense why, & ties back to the theme of mothers.
This was a great manga.
she's literally that one character where everyone following her goes "if you die, I would find a way to beat up death for you", there's literally no way they could've ever let her rest in peace.
author, please don't tell me you've introduced this good-looking, soon to be crossdressing, all around nice guy master just so he can die for his kids instead of retire.
please (ノಥ益ಥ)ノ
