not to be a pessimist or anything...but another problem i see in Toma Rei's mangas is that they make the FL strong and cold but then make her soft and naive the next second. This is a little too light hearted and optimistic of a chapter despite the tone of the previous ones
Idk. Maybe its cuz we got a glimpse of her personality before she got isekai-d, but just because you read a novel 3 times doesnt mean you can emulate the personality of a character. It's like saying you read Harry Potter and now you know how to act like Malfoy or Hermione.
On one hand you can say this is a safer option for Pauliana, the classic "superior/representative gets fired for incompetent subordinates" trope, because she gets distanced from Palace politics atleast for a while.
@Darkwolfix your explanation about Ishid letting go of Yunifer as his First Love and finding peace and balance with Rael who also suffered in an abusive relationship is prob the best explanation why they got together in the novel.
