@hananoyuuki problem is he already changed a bunch of stuff and i feel like the more they progress the less he really 'knows' will happen. Although he still has his skills, which gives won't just leave him useless and the knowledge about characters.
@someunregpunk
I don't think it's bugged. but he gains the stats, allowing him to grow limitless. So for him the concept of "level" doesn't matter. Otherwise after killing it would show something of 2/1 or smth else, at the very least.
@LeFlash
[spoiler] max lv is 1. got kicked and thrown down a cliff. almost died by some starving goblins but leveled up by consuming dragon corpse. killed goblins and consumed them. met catgirl waifu and killed spider together. met elf-waifu with teddybear-curse. was trained and consumed mobs...
@vannn maybe out of habit. And also confidence in the spell he used falling apart or running out of power, since it's not the first time but he's been doing this stuff for decades before reviving (like always).
But personally I don't care about small details. So far he seemed more genius than...
His thought's probably:
'oh why is she here?'
' what? she decided to commit double suicide!?'
'I can't just let her die after all the cool stuff with the piano?!'
'hm.. using shadow as a plot twist before disappearing sounds also really cool and i can stop her from killing herself! :D'
man, a bit too cliche ir generic this chapter. the girl seemed smarter at first rather then uselessly attacking and then trying to escape after telling them were she is.
and that last second saving...
looked more interesting at first and i hope it's gonna be more like the beginning chapters...
@ReRead if it were really like that, then the flame emporer back then would have already been at 99 since he can just kill them all? He was probably also the one who killed the sword saint, who saw his kill count, too.
@harieth or the demon. the get's the same reward and can make sure no one else will do that. He doesn't have to kill.
Personally I wonder if it were bad idea to explain to the sword saint in secret that those kills were from suicide. Probably not before the sword saint tells him about the kill...
that guy really pissed me off there.
talking like a Protagonist about their past and how he got motivated by him. As if he was the best friend and sees him giving up on his 'past dream', feeling betrayed?
he was always an asshole towards him and it feels like he's just a hypocrite because he...
really half his strength and it breaks after one hit? is it made of plastic? seems wasteful. better buy a better weapon like a knife or even better, some shield if he doesn't intend to fight.
@taetantan wasn't this since the beginning of the series, that just going gall dps is best, since it's flashy and seen as a show? It wasn't just defeating but also the audience. At least at the beginning xD
One of the reason it's why they go for "firepower". Plus his support is different, which...
@Strenux I think he's trustworthy, but later on something will happen, like finding out about what he did who knows, where the leader decides to kick him out or gives him a chance to flee/ditch them while making it seem like he tries to kill/betray him, because of some higher up nobles related...
haha, i guess he will definetly try to decline, but I somehow think he might join the party as the "new dragon" to defeat the demon king, like in the past.
