Steel Ball Run is truly a masterpiece of comic book storytelling. The characters are believable, all with reasoning behind their actions. They’re all complex yet fragile, with the art holding it all together. I highly recommend this part. It’s worth it.
“Look at me like that probably not think of suicide right now”
“Good”
Did these translators and letterers not speak fluent English? Holy shit... some of these typos have me dying.
It could be interpreted either way. There’s equal evidence for both, so unless Araki comes out and says otherwise, I’m assuming they’re both alternate Erina and they’re own characters.
After rereading it, it made sense to me. It just looked like she died because she kind of just collapsed, and I was surprised so I didn’t read every word bubble. But thanks for explaining.
No, no, you guys did a great job as always. It’s just some stuff looked a little off center, but nothing I won’t stop reading your translations over. It was like one or two word bubbles now that I look back at it. It looked like more before.
HORY SHIIIIT!!!
OH MY GOOOD!
That was the saddest chapter I’ve read since the Tomoki Damo chapters when they were slowly revealing how Josefumi and Kira got fused. I almost started crying when Holly died.
Wait... did she die?
Also, the lettering was kinda weird on this chapter.
