@suhan - I have read chapter 3, but he seems to be simply an adopted brother. In order for him to be the FL’s brother-in-law, he would have to be the husband of the FL’s sister. Unless the story suddenly develops in a way where the FL has a sister she never knew of and her adopted brother turns...

@Tatherwood - I notice the same mistake with a lot of translators. Somehow the difference between a step-brother and a brother in law (or step-sister and sister in law for that matter) seems to be a complete mystery to many. It both amazes and annoys me in equal measure each time I read it.
